Muslim Oasis ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use our Islamic education and prayer companion application.

Location Data (Optional)

• Purpose: To calculate accurate prayer times (Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha) and Qibla direction.
• Type: GPS coordinates (latitude/longitude).
• Storage: Stored locally on your device only.
• Sharing: Never shared with third parties or transmitted to our servers.
• User Control: iOS Settings → Muslim Oasis → Location.

Notification Access (Optional)

• Purpose: Prayer time notifications (Adhan alerts), Azkar (daily remembrance) reminders, fasting reminders, and Islamic calendar events.
• Storage: Stored locally on your device only.
• Sharing: Never shared.
• User Control: iOS Settings → Muslim Oasis → Notifications.

Local Data Storage

Stored strictly on your device:

• Prayer history & streaks
• Quran bookmarks
• Hadith favorites
• Reading progress
• Language preference (English/Arabic)
• Reminder settings
• Adhan audio preferences
• Location cache

No cloud sync is used.

Aladhan Prayer Time API

• Purpose: Backup prayer time calculation when offline GPS is unavailable.
• Data sent: City name or coordinates.
• Stored by us: No.

Local Prayer Calculation

• Library: adhan by Batoul Apps.
• Processing: 100% offline on device.

We do NOT collect:

• Names, emails, phone numbers
• User accounts or logins
• Device identifiers
• Analytics or tracking
• Advertising identifiers
• Payments or financial data
• Contacts or photos
• Any cloud-stored personal information

All data is processed locally on your device:

• Location → Prayer times & Qibla only.
• Notifications → Islamic reminders only.
• Local storage → Personal app experience only.

No data is used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the App.

We Do Not Request

• Camera
• Microphone
• Contacts
• Photos
• Calendar
• Bluetooth

• All data is stored locally using iOS secure storage.
• No authentication system exists.
• No servers store user data.
• Data is deleted automatically when the app is removed.

• Location cache: Periodic refresh.
• Progress: Until uninstall.
• Preferences: Until reset or uninstall.
• Favorites: Until manually removed.

You may at any time:

• Disable location access.
• Disable notifications.
• Reset your data.
• Uninstall the app to permanently delete all stored data.

Muslim Oasis contains a dedicated children's section:

• No registration required.
• No personal data collected.
• No chat or social features.
• No advertising.
• Local-only learning progress.

This complies with COPPA.

Updates may occur occasionally. We will update the "Last Updated" date and notify users in-app for major changes.
