This Privacy Policy describes how AlifPlay ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our Arabic learning mobile application (the "App"). AlifPlay helps learners explore the Arabic alphabet through lessons, tracing, sounds, and playful games. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

No Account Required

You can use the App without creating an account or registering. We do not require personal details to access core features.

Voluntary Feedback

If you contact us (for suggestions or support), we may collect:

• Your email address (so we can reply)
• The content of your message
• Date and time of submission

Automatically Collected Information (Non-Personal)

• Device information: Basic device model and operating system (to keep the App compatible and reliable).
• Usage analytics: Aggregated, anonymous usage statistics to improve performance and features.
• Crash reports: Anonymous technical data to diagnose and fix bugs.

No Sensitive Information

• No precise location — we do not collect GPS data.
• No camera/photos — we do not access your camera or media library.
• No contacts or files — we do not access your address book or documents.
• No social logins required — core features work without an account.
• Optional Sign-In (Google/Apple): If you choose to sign in, your email address is stored locally on your device to enable premium access. It is not uploaded to our servers or shared with third parties.

Privacy by design: AlifPlay works without personal accounts and uses only the minimum data needed to operate and improve the App.

Free users of Alif Play see banner advertisements served by Google AdMob. Ads are non-personalized, contextual, and family-friendly.

• Non-personalized (contextual) ads only: Ads are served based on general context, not your past behavior or interests.
• No interest-based profiling: We do not build user profiles for advertising or allow remarketing/retargeting.
• Advertising identifiers: The ad SDK may use a platform advertising identifier (e.g., IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android) for frequency capping, fraud prevention, and aggregated reporting. We do not combine this with personal data.
• App Tracking Transparency (iOS 14.5+): Apple's ATT prompt will appear before any tracking begins. If you decline, only non-personalized ads are shown.
• Family-friendly placement: Ads are COPPA-compliant and avoid disruptive formats and inappropriate categories.
• Upgrading to Pro ($2.99 one-time) removes all ads permanently. AdMob is not initialised for Pro users.
• Your choices: On iOS, go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → disable for Alif Play. On Android, go to Settings → Google → Ads to reset your advertising ID or opt out.

Alif Play offers an optional one-time Pro upgrade ($2.99) that unlocks all content and removes ads permanently.

Purchase Processing

Purchases are processed securely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We do not receive or store your payment card details. We use RevenueCat to verify your purchase entitlements. RevenueCat may receive a pseudonymous app user ID and purchase receipt for this purpose.

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

Limited Disclosures

• Legal: If required by law or court order.
• Technical support: Anonymous crash/diagnostic data may be shared with trusted platforms (e.g., Google Play Console, Firebase) to fix issues.
• Advertising: Limited data may be shared with Google AdMob to deliver non-personalized ads, prevent fraud, and measure aggregate performance.
• Purchases: Purchase receipts are shared with RevenueCat solely to verify entitlements.
• Security: To prevent abuse or protect user safety.

Feedback Data Protection

• Feedback emails are stored securely with access limited to authorized team members.
• Feedback is deleted after 2 years, unless needed for ongoing support.

We take reasonable measures to protect the limited information we process.

AlifPlay focuses on educational content and is suitable for learners of various ages. Where required by local laws, parental consent may be necessary for children under a certain age.

AlifPlay includes: Learn Letters (all 28 Arabic letters with examples and sounds), Fun Games (Memory pairs, Sound Guessing, Quick Quiz, and Word Build), Trace Letters (guided tracing with smooth drawing), and Audio (letter pronunciations and prompts).

• Core learning works without precise location.

• Optional ads are minimal and non-personalized.

We do not use web cookies in the App. Ad SDKs and analytics may rely on platform identifiers (e.g., an advertising ID) to provide non-personalized ads, limit frequency, prevent fraud, and measure aggregate performance. You can reset your advertising ID and limit ad personalization in your device settings.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect improvements or legal requirements. Material changes will be highlighted within the App or on this page. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
